CONTENIDO: Among the real challenges of bilingual education is the lack of availability of appropriate activities, materials and resources for CLIL classrooms. This book comprises a collection of helpful teaching activities, materials and resources for CLIL classrooms at Primary and Secondary education levels. These activities, materials and resources aimed at developing communication skills are mainly intended to be used by educators in CLIL classrooms so as to improve language instruction and to enhance the classroom learning experience.
This book is fundamentally designed to provide a source of reference, being particularly helpful for pre-service and in-service CLIL teachers who can find valuable activities and materials for their CLIL lessons. Of course, they need to analyse them and select those most appropriate to be used in their CLIL classrooms.
AUTOR: Juan de Dios Martínez is Associate Professor of TEFL at the Faculty of Education of the University of Extremadura (Spain) and Head of the Research Group in English Language Teaching and Learning. His current re­search interests include Second Language Acquisition and English Language Teaching Methodology. He has published several books and research articles on these areas in national and international publications.
Mª Magdalena López is Assistant Professor of TEFL at the Faculty of Education of the University of Extremadura (Spain) and member of the Research Group in English Language Teaching and Learning. She has published various research articles related to the methodology of teaching English as a second language as well as to the role performed by teachers during the teaching-learning process of English as a second language.
